A Can Wins at Cannes

While the internet presents a nearly limitless amount of ways for a brand to engage its audience – remarkably, those tired, static little internet advertising boxes (otherwise known as “banner ads”) are still the most prolific (and measurable) tool for agencies and clients to measure the cornerstone of all internet marketing statistics: audience engagement. The following banner ad for Pringles was just honored with a Cyber Lion Award at Cannes. Research showed that on average, individuals clicked 19 times and spent just over 2 minutes with this simple banner ad.

Most importantly, Pringles definitely proved that you don’t have to leave the box – to do something outside of it.
